| Skill Details: | Students must be comfortable with sewing 1/4 inch seam allowances and familiar with reading sewing patterns. Must be able to confidently cut fabrics according to patterns. |
| Requirements: | Items you will need: - your sewing machine with 1/4" foot and all-purpose foot (N, J, or open toe foot) - rotary cutter with your initials - an acrylic ruler 8in x 12in or larger - neutral sewing thread - general sewing notions (extra bobbins and needles, seam ripper, etc) - a pressing mat and craft iron would be very helpful but not required - a class cutting mat would be very helpful but not required |
